I often wondered how people could LIVE without eating certain foods and wondered how I could go the rest of my life without this, that or the other food I felt I needed and now I know. Let me explain, I was OBSESSED with cocoa pebbles before I started watching my foods and trying to LIVE healthier. My entire family had a bowl of cocoa pebbles tonight so I took a bite of DSs and it was AWFUL!! That's right AWFUL! It tasted like unsweetened cardboard, I swear I tasted the cardboard in it. I just can't imagine how I used to sit and eat a HUGE bowl of these cardboard pieces. So now I know how myself and others can LIVE without eating certain foods, WE don't like them and I mean honestly don't like them anymore because it is true your taste change when you change your eating habits...This is more proof to me than any weight I could lose that changing my lifestyle is working!!

You are so right!! This is a great NSV. When you go without certain things for awhile, they do not taste the same. I love french fries and haven't had any real ones since before Jan 31 and now to even smell them turns my stomach. I still eat them baked though and LOVE THEM!!!0

Mine was cigarettes. When I got pregnant, I quit. I didn't light up again until my baby was over 6 months, and even then it was only occassional. But I still CRAVED them. I loved the smell of them and could never completely get them out of my mind. I would have one every once in awhile, but I never picked up the habit again, fully.
It wasn't until I did C25K and then started up Spin classes that I started to hate the way they smelled and stopped having cravings. Now, I am one of those annoying ex-smokers that gives smokers the stink eye for lighting up in public, at a park, or around children. Cravings gone!0
