Just wanted to give you a heads up, in case you haven't seen it yet. Basically you go to the Silk site and click on the "get a coupon" in the right hand corner, register a new account and get a $2 coupon for any Silk half gallon. There is a coupon printer thingy you need to install to print the coupon but well worth it.

I managed to print off two of them. An added bonus for me is our local Safeway is having a sale on Silk half gallons for 1.99 starting tomorrow so I'm getting them for free. :smokin:

Nice! I'm so addicted to almond milk. Our store has a generic brand that I like even better than the Silk but it's always nice to have options.

I stumbled across it when I was trying to be coupon savvy after being inspired by that crazy Extreme Couponing show.

yep, ditto. the best thing I invested $3.50 in ever, it was a gamble, I didnt know if I would like it and didnt want to buy it a just throw it out....lol they really should sell pints of it for people to try it, their sells would double.

lol That was me today. I actually stood there for several minutes thinking about it (and looking for pints). My daughter was getting impatient so I just threw it in the cart.

I'm going to have to try this, and perfect now with the coupon. I have a question tho, is there a good amount of calcium in it?

Just fill out the survey thing and as long as it's a new account you'll get a $2 coupon. It said the same thing for me

It's actually a wonderful source of calcium, about 45% of your RDA per serving

Thanks for sharing the information. I had always wanted to try SILK, but didn't want to buy a large quantity of it, and one day just decided to throw it in my cart. Can't say I liked the taste of it at first, but someone suggested that I use it with my multi-grain Cheerios, and just like that...............I LOVED it.. Something about the combination of cereal and SILK is amazing!

I've got some vanilla Silk sitting in my fridge right now and I'm trying to make myself like it but I just can't!! I did the same thing in the dorms, I'd buy chocolate silk pints with breakfast instead of regular but I just never got a taste for it! :frown:
