I joined gym about a month ago. What exercise or weight machine is good to tone the part under the arm ? You know the the upper arm ... underneath that. Thanks.

The shoulder press works your triceps and shoulders, also the chest press is good or the good ol' tricep machine...I like the machines that work more than one muscle at a time though. I feel like I am getting more bang plus working larger muscle groups help burn calories faster0

Tricep curl machine... also the rower is a good one.. pick up al 5-10 pound dumbell and lift it above your head but keep the dumbell behind your head.
you can also do back wards push ups by taking a bench turning your back to it put your feet out in front of you and your arms on the bench, lower your body below the seat and then push back up with your arms.0 -
Good ole push-ups!0

Machines are nice but they can restrict movement. Go for some dumbbells. There are all kinds of curl exercises. And don't forget those triceps. These can sometimes be neglected. Push ups great for your arms and shoulders!0

Plank is also a very good arm exercise......
Have you tried any yoga......I get a great arm workout from some of the exercises.0 -

I think machines are good for people just starting out using weights. If they jump into free weights with out much idea of how much or how to they can really hurt themsevles. But I do agree that once that has been established weights or body resistance are great.0 -
Push ups are the best overall arm, chest and back movement. I was told by my trainer the best moves are natural ones that involve all muscles at once instead of isolating them and working them unproportionately.0
