my mini goals

I have this written on a piece of paper above my work phone, so i see it all day every day. :)

1st goal: total of 12 lbs down by the end of my first month on MFP. (4.17.11) **Met on 4.20.11!**
2nd goal: total of 28 lbs down by the end of my 3rd month (6.17.11)
3rd goal: total of 38 lbs down by the end of my 5th month (8.17.11)
Final goal: Goal weight of 150 by the end of 2011. (total loss will be 67 lbs)

Starting weight: 217 (yikes, i know!)
Current weight: 204.4
Goal weight: 150

I WILL DO THIS!
now, where's my support group?? :)

    Thanks for posting this! Are you doing anything to reward yourself when you met your goals?
  • Oh, to be honest, i hadnt even thought of that! i just want to meet my goals above all else! i am going to colorado at the end of next month and then to the beach (later in july or august)..so really, i'll probably reward myself with a new swimsuit for the beach trip..but other than that i dont know what i'll do yet..

    My mini goals:

    Down ten pounds - today is my weigh-in and I think I've made it!

    "One"derland - in another 14 pounds. I will also weigh less than my husband by the time I reach that.

    179 - This will be the lowest I have ever achieved on a diet or lifestyle change.

    Climb Mt. Marathon, in August. I am adding a few minutes on the elliptical machine each time I do it, hoping to be up to an hour by then.

    I haven't decided on any rewards either.

    :) I have my goals in my phone and posted by my computer to remind me...this website will only work if I get off it sometimes and actually do something worth recording! haha I have similar goals in mind and no real rewards thought out. I guess I thought looking and feeling great was going to be it....but I could use some summer clothes.... :)

    Feelling and look better should be reward enough, but I want something more :wink:

    Here is my attempt:

    Mini Goal #1 down 20 pounds - Day off work to do anything/nothing
    Mini Goal #2 down 35 pounds - Mini getaway with the whole family
    Mini Goal #3 down 50 pounds - Mini getaway with husband
    All time goal down 70 pounds - A return trip to Vegas..??
