Hey all!
I am planning on making Chicken Pot Pie for dinner tonight as it is my husbands fave.
But I have a question other than using puff pastry to reduce the cals, does anyone else have any other suggestions?

I make the filling and use the reduced fat Pillsbury Grands.0

Tips:
1. Cut back on the unhealthy and heavy sauces and add in more veggies
2. Use reduced fat chicken broth and reduced fat cream of chicken soup
3. Use skim milk in place of 2 percent
4. Use heart smart bisquick to make a sure fire, healthy base

I know it's not pastry but you can use instant mashed potatoes. Make them with low fat milk and Smart balance spread.

Thanks all for the suggestions and I stuck with the puff pastry. Very filling and only 498 cals for one serving.0
