Teeny-tiny victory with huge consequences

I am finding that my body is adjusting extremely well (and quickly) to my reduced intake. I often have to mentally remind myself to grab my snack so I stay on track, instead of having my stomach remind me. And smaller amounts more than satisfy me, and I'm happy with that. I don't have the "I'll stop when it hurts" mindset when it comes to food. Exercise, maybe...but not food.

When I (finally) quit smoking in 2009, I *knew* that time was going to be successful. I was going to accomplish what I previously thought was impossible. I have that same feeling with my weight loss now. I will be victorious

That is great not to be hungry anymore and that your body has adjusted. I keep having to ask myself, "Am I hungry or just bored?" and it is usually the latter.

I still can't tell weather I'm ever hungry or not so I have to do it by the numbers. I eat 3 to 400 calories every 3 to 4 hours...

Like crafty said, I always ask myself am I hungry or just bored? Sometimes while I write I'll want to eat. Breaking that habit took a while, but I finally did it. Or if I truly want something, I head for fresh veggies.

I've noticed too that a lot of my "hunger" is either bordom (weekends) or TOM. I have to constantly be on guard with myself. But, I am okay with that because I look and feel better than I have in YEARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
