Is there any particular formula as far as how much water you would need to drink to get rid of x amount of sodium?

The human body, like other organisms, will act to bring the body into "homeostasis" (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Homeostasis) so it will naturally excrete excess sodium. If your body needs more water, for whatever reason, it uses "thirst" to get you to add water.0

I'm aware that most people will feel thirsty when they need more water0
