adding protein powder to meals?

I was on the website for the protein powder I buy, trying to get new protein shake recipes and I saw a few recipes for different snacks or meals. Some involved natural unflavored whey protein and some had the flavored proteins. Just wondering if anyone has ever added protein powder to a meal or anything besides a shake?

For sure, it's a great idea! I add flavoured protein powder to my yogurt, oatmeal, and use it as a base when making protein pancakes! I highly recommend you adding it to meals!0

I add it to my oatmeal, my pancakes, and I've added the unflavored type to some thicker soups I've made (sweet potato & carrot, stews)... ditto for yogurt! Also, you can add it to the below ingredients and put them in the freezer for your own homemade protein bars!
Homemade Protein Bars
5 tbsp. natural peanut butter
1/2 c. oats
1/2 c. oat flour (or another 1/2 oats)
6 scoops whey protein (your choice of flavour)
1 tsp. vanilla extract (or you can use coconut extract, etc. to change flavour)
2 tbsp flax seeds (ground, this is optional)
2 c. nofat dry milk
1/2 c. water (can add slightly more if necessary)
Mix dry ingredients. Add p/b & mix (will be crumbly). Add water & vanilla (use spatula sprayed w/ non-stick spray). Mix completely (will be sticky). Put in greased 8x8 pan & cool/freeze until hard. Cut into 9 squares.

I am def going to try adding it to more foods! I need to get more protein in each day but get tired of having shakes all the time.0

I always add it to oats as well but last night was first time I added it prior to microwaving. Came out much different texture. There was some research done on if the affect of the protein is diminished with heating but I think the results said it was negligible. (from memory sorry, was a while back)0

I blend vanilla flavored protein shake with various frozen fruits and freeze to make a yummy ice cream alternative. And love to add it to my oatmeal usually with Motts no sugar added apple sauce, the cups... sometimes the peach medley, sometimes the plain applesauce and sometimes the country berry with cinnamon and stevia... It taste super yummy.0
