If I don't have a food scale, how do I measure spaghetti? I want to cook 2 oz (1 serving) of it for dinner tonight. Please help!

Not sure. I highly recommend getting a scale. I got the cheap-o Biggest Loser scale at Bed Bath & Beyond for $20. I have used it way more than I ever anticipated. It is invaluable.

There are pasta "scoops" that have serving holes in them to measure dry pasta. I used to use that until I got a scale.
  • Pasta usually comes in 16 oz. packages. Take as close as you can get to an 1/8 of the package. I agree with the above poster...I scale is invaluable.

one serving of 2 ounces of spaghetti is approximately the same as the diameter of a nickel. It's a guideline if you have no other way to measure or weigh.
  • WOW, Thanks
