my favorite meal/salad

This strange combination of ingredients is my new favorite salad. It will also calm down my sweet tooth.
One pear, chopped
One apple, chopped
One tiny cucumber (or half a small, or a third of an "english")
juice of one half of a lime
mix these ingredients together, and toss with the lime juice
Then, mix
1 tbs. of almond butter
about one tbs of warm water
and toss with the other ingredients.
makes one enormous salad (or two moderate sized)
If you have room for more calories, a handful of chopped walnuts is divine.
If you want to share, add raw spinach (about 10 calories a cup)

Sounds great. Do you let is sit in the fridge for a while to marinate?0

Nope, I just eat it. But, I think the extra thing the lime juice does is prevent the fruit from browning if it sits.0

YUMMY that sound FAB!
I think I will make it tonight.
I agree that the lime MUST be to stop the browning.
Not to mention the flavor!
I am thinking adding fresh mint to this would taste grand too.
