I found that controlling breathing was very important - breathe in 4 steps - breathe out 4 steps (or however many suits you) otherwise breathing gets faster and faster until you have to stop. Quite basic really and the reason for many years why I could not run. 3 years ago I could run for an hr at 12 kmh now after a long break I am back and trying to get back to previous form. As others have said music is good - listen to the music and forget how many minutes are on the display and you will soon get there!0
