Ok guys, since i started this journey, starting weight was 140llbs, and being only 5 foot tall i felt horrible, ugly, and had no confidence. I used to have sex with the light off and had to breath in all the time, never wore short tops always hid my *kitten* and hated looking in the mirror.

I am not 8llbs from my target weight of 123llbs and i feel amazing, i dance round my bedroom naked, so my fella can see and love all his compliments, without sounding rude, when i do this its only a matter of seconds before we under the covers ;)

I absolutely love my new figure, no need for hiding my *kitten* or holding my stomach in!

How has it made you feel? has your confidence grown with the opposite sex? do you wear things you wouldnt dare before. I think its great to feel good about yourself, i feel brand new.

Its great to hear how its effected you guys too :)

  • More energy, a general better feeling overall. Plus my wife is loving it.

BTW, what is 10 stone? =)

Stone is a measurement of weight we use here in the UK, there are 14lbs in one stone, so OP was 140lbs when she started.

I'm also 5 foot tall, 10 stone 3 at the moment (but I use to weigh over 14stone when I started losing weight), with a goal of 8stone. How long has it taken you to get to 8st 11 (which by my calculations is your current weight)?

And to answer your question, I now buy nice lingerie. When I was over 200lbs I lived in huge bosom-holders and granny pants!

its taken me 8 weeks in all, but 9 years to make it happen! yes your correct im 8.11 it might not sound much to some people, my starting weigh that it, but to me it was, and naked, people would have agreed haha. Well done you.

Yes! I was just posting a blog about *kitten* pictures! lol

For the first time in my adult life I feel like I look ok. I used to get dressed in the bathroom after a shower as I hated the thought of people seeing even an ankle peeking out of my towel! Now I'm often found wandering around in my underwear! lol

I'm currently single and have been for a little while, my self esteem was shockingly low but I genuinely feel now like I can be confident about putting myself out there!

It's these feelings of freedom and achievement that keep me spurred on to maintain this loss and get me to goal!

I used to get undressed turn off the light and jump into bed. I used to hate my partner hugging my stomach in bed whilst lie on my side as all my "flab" would fall to the one side. gross!! there is no flab anymore, just a toned tummy.

Well done to you, i cant believe it took me so long to get motivated, i feel i can rival those teens and there crop tops now :)

I think you may be my twin sister (lol). Up until 2 years ago I had so much confidence, I was always buying clothes, getting my hair and nails done regularly , eyelashes tinted, enjoying picking my outfits for work each morning and then I took my eye off the ball and I put on weight.... "I want to stay at home and hang out in my dressing gown returned".

Oh no I still look chubby at 143lbs so I totally understand your decision to diet. Taller ladies don't realise how much more they can weigh and still look slim!!!

Agreed, my best mate, who is 11 years younger than me and 5ft 8 is a little heavier than me and shes stunning, she was actually my reason for doing this, well not reason but looking and her pushed me... i actually hated her, not in a real sense just jealousy haha, xx

Well for me, its certainly different
    Dating at 390lbs sucks!
Now atleast I know I can hold off until I'm attracted to them.
Its nice to get attention and compliments and I believe them now.
However I'm still nervous about intimacy since losing 175lbs means things aren't so perky. lol
But I figure the right guy will understand. Haha there are alot of things I want to try with my new body..so heres to the future!

As far as sex goes...I was more confident when I was morbidly obese. Anyone that wanted to see me naked kinda knew what they were in for with my clothes still on. And even though I'm married I still feel like my body wrinkles, extra skin, stretch marks are still a caveat for my husband. X-D

This is my biggest fear... not so much the perkiness, but the other side effects of weightloss... the stretch marks etc. I ask a lot of my male colleagues really random questions now about how they feel about that sort of stuff and most of the feedback has been encouraging! lol Mostly that they don't notice and don't care and they're usually worried about what we think of their bodies and their performance and the most common answer? They're just ecstatic that they're getting laid! lol

...Not to mention I look like I could probably do more in bed than my coordination levels allow. :-/

Us too. We've been together since freshman year of high school. 2 kids. We're back to how we were in high school lol he says he was never not attracted to me, but boy can I see a difference now that I lost all the weight. He follows me like a puppy.

I've started to wear newer clothes that are nicer. I still feel fat though, when I try and judge if I can fit through a gap I'm literally double estimating my actual size.. guess it hasn't sank in enough yet.

I'm the same with the saggy bits, my stomach still isn't right and I won't have the confidence until I get that sorted, I just instantly think that a girl will hate the sight of it because it doesn't really look like it's there until the clothes come off.

I do feel a little sexier though and the added energy has definately helped. Now I just need to get myself out there a bit more! :)

I found that the 30 DS along the way really helped with saggy bits, i was toning and losing at the same time, i agree with everyones comments about the "bad" side, well not bad but annoying bit about weight loss, i have an orange peel belly from having a c section where muscles has just damaged and i dont think that will ever go, but from the inside i feel good and can ignore that, its a whole new ball game :O

    Well done to you

Yeah when I did mine I wasn't planning on losing almost 8 stone lol, it was a trial couple of weeks to see If I could actually lose weight as I'd always failed miserably. As a result I always thought I was going to stop so I didn't exercise or tone, I used to be broad and have some muscle as well as a LOT of fat but I lost everything because of the way I dieted.

I'm not to my goal yet, only almost half-way -- but I already feel better. My clothes fit better, I think I look better, and I'm not always wondering if people are disgusted by my fat. Friends have told me they notice how hard I've been working, which makes me feel great.

I'm going out downtown with a friend on Saturday for the first time in a loooong time. I know part of the reason I didn't want to go out was because I felt so gross. But now I am so excited to get dressed up and can't wait to have some fun with my girls!
