Hello Everyone,
I have been using myfitnesspal for a few weeks now, before that I used Livestrongs site. I am about a fourth done with my weight loss so far, your posts have inspired me to keep it up!
This town is not very diet friendly, but then I guess any Texas town is full of fatty fried and Mexican foods.
Hope to meet more of you who feel my pain!

I'm moving to Galveston in August. Hoping Houston will have some half-decent healthy spots to grab a bite! :laugh:0

I think Corpus Christi was recently named America's fattest city or something, which is puzzling to me, considering it's on the water. I would've imagined people were at least into water sports down there. I live in Austin, and it's a great city for active, health-conscious people, but it does have it's share of restaurants with delicious fattening foods.0

Hello from Texas! I definitely get what you are saying, I usually avoid restaurants now and cook at home for quick-to-reheat meals. Great job so far, keep it up0
