Dieting in Corpus Christi

Hello Everyone,

I have been using myfitnesspal for a few weeks now, before that I used Livestrongs site. I am about a fourth done with my weight loss so far, your posts have inspired me to keep it up!

This town is not very diet friendly, but then I guess any Texas town is full of fatty fried and Mexican foods.

Hope to meet more of you who feel my pain!

I think Corpus Christi was recently named America's fattest city or something, which is puzzling to me, considering it's on the water. I would've imagined people were at least into water sports down there. I live in Austin, and it's a great city for active, health-conscious people, but it does have it's share of restaurants with delicious fattening foods.

Hello from Texas! I definitely get what you are saying, I usually avoid restaurants now and cook at home for quick-to-reheat meals. Great job so far, keep it up
