Tips for Lower Tummy Flab ?

Hey there. Ive been following the Insanity workout system (i am on week 3) so far I've lost like 6 pounds and I can already see some results. However, I was already in pretty good shape when I started the program 167lb 6'0 I just really wanted to tone up and get muscles.
Although I have seen some results, I have not felt like any of the lower stomach flab has disappeared. Does anyone have any recommendations for how to target this area?
Do people find that Insanity neglects this area? I have never felt abdominal pain after doing insanity it is mostly always in my legs.
Please let me know!

This question again? lol
You can't spot reduce fat. You have to reduce your overall bodyfat percentage.0 -
So you are saying that just sticking with Insanity, the fat will naturally disappear and tone up the lower pouch?0

Stick with it, I've done insanity and it's the only thing thats reduced my stomach the most. The second month for most people also seems to be the time when you see the most dramatic results.
Unfortunately the tummy is the area always seems to be one of the last places to go, you just have to keep up the cardio and it'll go down eventually0 -
thanks heidi! I'll look forward to that second month!0

Cardio. Crap loads of cardio.0

If the pouch is actually fat, then yes, the solution is cardio. But if the pouch is caused from your lower ab muscles not being toned you can help tighten them, which will flatten that area, by doing core strengthening exercises. Some good ones for this are: Pilates 100's, planks, kegels, and just keeping your core engaged all day while walking, sitting, standing, etc.0
