How do i eat if i can't really eat anything? I got a tooth pulled on tuesday and i got spacers on wensday for my braces that i'm getting this coming wensday. I have been trying to eat but it hurts to chew and my mom is having a hard time finding me thing that i can eat since i dont' buy my food. NExt week is going to be even harder when i get the braces. I'm a raw vegan so i can't eat ice cream, vegan ice cream is really expensive, i can't eat yogurt and i hate soy yogurt, i don't like mashed potatoes or apple sauce and i can't eat pudding or jello. Today i had two bananas but i had to eat it in little tiny bites because it hurts too much if i don't and some frozen fruit that took forever to eat. I was also thinking maybe soup but i have trust issues with anything in a can or many boxed food because i don't believe that they put everything one the box that they put in the soup. I was thinking maybe smoothies but they're kind of cold and the cold hurts my teeth. I've been drinking tons of water which fills me up but i don't know what else to do. Everyone is yelling at me to eat but it's hard because it hurts and i can't find anything that i really want to eat that helps. Oh and i drink a lot of almond milk but i can't live off that.

Low sodium V8, low sodium soup, yogurt, jello, fat free pudding! I got my wisdom teeth pulled a few months ago and thats what I lived off of for a few days :)

Make your own soup......gazpacho is a nice vegan soup and easy to eat.....potato or tomato bisque...you could use a food processor to add veggies to it for more nutrition. ...........sorry, I can't think of much more..........oh oatmeal...you could let the oats soak for a while so they're extra soft. Good luck!

Have you tried well cooked pasta? That's one of the things that I consume after I get my braces adjusted each month. You can also try spaghetti squash as it's usually not too hard when my teeth are sore.

If worse comes to worse, you could also try blending your vegetables in a blender so you can drink them until the soreness goes away.
  • eat a baked garnet yam. Soo tasty, so full of vitamins and protein, they're a wonder veggie. I know where you're coming from though with the braces. I had the same experience as a teen. I'm a vegetarian (but I eat dairy), so it was easier for me.
