Baking vs frying

I had some quick processed food for supper. I has always thought that I was doing better by baking the items rather than frying. I know this food isn't good for me, but does anyone know if the label is based on baking or frying???

Thanks for any insight you can provide.

What food was it? Baking would usually always be better because it's minus the oil etc.

pre packaged foods (that are breaded) are already fried. if you bake them (basically just reheating them), the calories on the package are correct. If you deep fry them, they have been fried twice when you eat them and the calories increase by whatever calories your frying oil has in it. This stuff isn't good for us (I eat it too, though), but baking it is a lot better!
