I've been working hard to count my calories and exercise. When I did eat out with friends and allowed myself to eat high calorie foods I worked harder to burn them off. I had lost 10 lbs and I've gained half back. I think it is largely muscle, but I'm looking in the mirror and all I see is regression. My goal isn't to lose a huge amount of weight but I was 5 pounds short of my goal and suddenly I'm further from it. I'm thinking it may be time to chat with a nutritionist and make sure I'm not missing something here. Any advice that comes to mind?

Maybe focus more on how your clothes are fitting or your measurements than the number on the scale?
