Ok. So I was set to lose 2 lbs/week and I was doing great. I'm a bridesmaid in June and I just recently had to go and buy my dress so it will be in on time for the wedding. Happy dance, NSV, it was an entire size smaller than when I tried on dresses a few months ago. June is still a couple of months away and while I would LOVE to lose another dress size or two, I just don't want to pay to have the dress altered since it would cost more than I paid for the dress (not happening). I then reset my goals to 1 lb/week so that would not happen. I think I can safely lose 6 or 8 lbs without the dress needing alterations. I had a bad weekend last weekend and I went over on my calories, but just on one day. Granted, I was still eating "badly" compared to what I've been doing despite saying in calorie range and I haven't been able to work out the 5-6 times a week I have been. Anyway (there is a point here, I swear!) I have gained 4 lbs in a week. I don't know exactly what my culprit is or if it's just some PMS water retention/bloating because that TOM should be coming up VERY soon, but I just thought I'd throw this out there and get some opinions/advice. Thanks!

If your TOM is looming that is the most likely. I doubt you gained that much FAT back... do you know how much you would've had to eat over for that? Ew.

Don't worry too much about those 4 pounds, I think you're right, they are likely water retention. Just follow your plan and weigh in a few days or a week from now and I'll bet you'll be back to what you were or a little less. My body does this too, so please don't panic!!! And have fun at the wedding!!!!

Today I am back at the same weight I was before the eating binge/change in calories. I still don't know what was causing it, though. :(
