Getting back on track

Hey Y'all,
I managed to lose 40 lbs between July 2010 and Jan 2011; mainly limiting sugar and simple carbs and exercising almost every day, even if it was just walking. A couple things happened this winter, including my 14 y/o daughter badly breaking her leg while skiing, that threw me off track. I was pleased to see that I only gained 3 lbs through it all, but I felt flabby and tired and it was really hard to get back "in the habit". A friend sent me this website and it has offered me some badly needed accountability. I still have another 40 lbs or so to lose so I'm grateful for the support that this site offers. I hope I can be of help to others in here too. We all need to be lifted up when we struggle and we all need to be celebrated when we have successes, both big and small! Here's to the journey being something that we can be proud of... and to never ever giving up!!
