What size represents a cup of water? I'm assuming it's 10oz, but I may be wronger than 2 left shoes...

Go by your thirst. Replace what you lose. The 8 cups a day is a rule of thumb at the very best. I ignore it completely.

Exactly! I have been drinking water like a mad woman, I can't just drink 8 glasses a day, i'd be dehydrated. I drink between 2-3L a day if not more.
Today I drank 3.5 litres and I could have drank more. There were periods I was really thirsty.0 -
Thanks guys, I actually read that you should drink your body weight in ounces daily. WOW, that's alot of water for me, but I love water. I can drink it in the am, with/without a meal and i keep a couple of bottles beside my bed for late night sips.

Yeah, most of the experts don't like that 8 glasses thing anymore, you should go by thirst and body weight.0
