WAFFLES IS SO CUTE! I have the almost exact copy named "Silly". Found him at the local dumpster. He was around 5 weeks old. The vet said it was the worst case of ringworms she'd ever seen. I had to bath him every other night for over 3 months. Needless to say he loves his bath and will get in the bathtub and try to turn on the water about once a month. I bath him at the beginning of every month. I can use the handheld shower full force on him to rinse. He also loves to ride in a car and goes camping with us.
This cat is something else! Right now he's curled up in his beanbag snoozing. He'll wake me up at 6 to go to work. I Do love my cat!0 -
We have a Golden Retriver names Toby who is 10 years old. We also have 2 cats ....Lucy is 4 years old and Zoey is about 1 1/2. Zoey just had kittens on Monday. Here's a pic! * Yes, she will be getting spayed asap!*

I don't have the wherewithal to post pictures, so I am going to describe them to you and you can imagine them, like in a book.
Gilligan is a stocky brown tabby with longer, fluffier fur than a manly cat has a right to wear. His eyes are golden and as round as saucers. When he was a kitten, he was nothing but fluff and eyeballs.
Finnegan is a sleek, silver tabby who twitches his tail when he thinks about things. His almond-shaped eyes are green and he always has a snotty nose.0 -

Waffles loves water too! Before I take a bath I have to wash her fur down the drain from her laying in the tub  I swear she's not a cat. She won't eat tuna or chicken but you'd better believe she'll fight you to get the waffles off your plate (hence her name) I adopted her off Craigs List when her former owners decided that they wanted to get a dog and the landlord would only allow them one animal. They'd had her since she was a kitten but just decided one day to toss her by the way side. She was a year and a half old when I brought her into our home and I told her that we think dogs are evil so she'd never have to worry about us giving her up for one. I love my kitty!0 -

this is Dax. he is the eldest of my cats. we think he has maine coon in him, and he has 2 extra toes on each paw. he is a big suck, always wanting attention. even from the dog!
this is Hooper. he is the middle child, but also my baby. he was brought into the pet store i used to work at with his brothers and sisters, and he had to be seperated from them because he ended up having a medical problem. the vet told us to put him down, but we couldn't do it, and got a second opinion. through the course of all this, he adopted me. all animals know i am a sucker. needless to say, he is doing fine, and other than feeding him certain foods, there is nothing wrong with him. silly vet!
and my youngest feline GM (for Got Milk). he was supposed to be my brothers, but his cat just will not leave this guy alone, and my cats have pretty much accepted him. so he adopted me...story of my life :P
and the newest addition to my furry family, Kula. the cats were not impressed...but Dax and GM have come around, even occasionally wanting to play. or in Dax's case, wanting her to groom him. did i mention Dax was a suck? lol. her fur is much longer now, she was shaved at the rescue place she was at because she had a bad case of mites. unfortunetly she is still having fur/skin problems, she developed allergies and the vet thinks her immune system is compromised. but other than itchies and making sure she doesn't eat chicken, she is a pretty happy go lucky puppy full of energy.

So many cat people! lol
That's because cats rule and dogs drool
Actually I've always preferred cats because they're cleaner and more independent. I have OCD and when our dog would go to the bathroom on the floor even after I stood outside with him for half an hour it drove me NUTS. I had all sorts of chew toys for him and he still insisted on chewing up my children's clothing, my laptop charger, and anything else that wasn't his. Waffles on the other hand uses her box without fail and while I don't enjoy cleaning it, she's grateful so I don't mind. The only thing she's ever chewed on is my toes through my blanket and she's not so needy as that dog was. Man was I ever happy to see him go! He was adopted by a family that didn't have children and swore they were going to treat him like a baby so I bet he was happy too0 -

Furious Trixie
Charlotte Sometimes
Daisy Mae (Daisy Doodle Caboodle my Noodles)
Detective John Munch, reformed foster kitten.
I'm an animal control officer so I have ample opportunity to foster and save lives. I wouldn't be me without my fosters.
Currently fostering Monkey (m), Tiki (f) and Pike (m). Will be up for adoption in a little over a month.0 -

I don't mind cats. We always had 3+ growing up. But I live in a apartment and there is no good spot for a cat box. Not to mention that I do hate cleaning them. I would want one of those expensive cat box genie things that cleans the whole box for you. Haha0 -
It's my dream to have one of those self cleaning litterboxes but for the time being I just scoop it for her each day as a thank you for using it We're in an apartment also and I feel you on having a place for it. It took some rearranging of our furniture to squeeze her goodies in but she was worth it.0

I've had more than one of those in my lifetime and trust me, they're more trouble than they're worth. Right now, the best thing I've ever done, is take a large 5+ gallon tupperware box as the outer box. Every time I go to costco I load up on litter box sized boxes. I fill the cardboard box up with just enough litter to cover the bottom. I put dryer sheets on the bottom of the tupperware bin before I put the cardbord box in to help with the smell. Every two days or so i throw the cardboard box out and start anew. No fuss, no muss. MUCH preferable to sifting through s***.
You don't need a large tupperware bin, but I do, to keep the dogs out!0 -
What about teaching a cat to use the toliet? You can do that, right? lol0

if YOU know how, please, do tell! I've seen kits you can buy (imagine a litter pan that fits around the toilet bowl) but have never been brave enough to try it. Maybe you have to get 'em young. May be a good time to try on this set of fosters. Weird bonus for their adoptive parents though...0 -
We only have one bathroom and I'm currently trying to teach my toddler to use it. It would be soo awesome if Waffles could use the toilet but with the trouble I'm having teaching my son, I do believe my head would explode to try to teach her too.0

Dont have any pics but we have a couple of pets. Ginger Meggs is our domestic cat. Melody is our dog, she is a Shetland Sheepdog and getting old, now 8.5 years old. Plus we have two birds, not furry friends though, cockatiels called Cranky & Peachey.0
