Hungrier faster

So I have been eating the same breakfast for awhile now, and it always seemed to fill me up, but recently I seem to be hungier faster...I am wondering if the cereal isn't cutting it anymore, or if with my increased work outs my body just wants more ( I started to work with a trainer, so I am pushing myself further than ever with interval workouts)
(I eat a serving of fiber one cereal with 3/4 cup skim milk, it was always ok til my morning snack 2.5 to 3 hours later, now it seems like 1.5 -2 hours I am hungry again)
any suggestions??
I grabbed a bag of baby carrots for a filler if needed today, which helped a bunch and at 35 calories it's not killing my calories for the day! :)

A couple of suggestions - perhaps you could add protein to your breakfast ie. a boiled egg or something or you could have a 150ml of warm, skimmed milk (add half a teaspoon of coffee if you wish) when you get hunger pangs. I find that this is very comforting and it adds protein for an energy boost.

    Hope this helps,

I like to eat Fiber One with yogurt instead of milk. Don't know if that would help with the protein or not.

Try this out, it will make you feel fuller, trust me the cereal was not working out for me. I just added the link for raw juice therapy. It will make you feel much better and satisfied.

I agree with the post above, protein helps to keep you full. The carrots are a good idea-I try to keep some veggies on me at all times in case I get hungry. I usually have a baggie with carrots, sugar snap peas, celery, or some other low calorie food to snack on without feeling guilty.

I also drink silk vanilla light soy milk when I am hungry-its 70 calories for 1 cup and it makes me feel full.

Also-make sure you are drinking A LOT of water! A lot of time we mistaken hunger for thirst, and if you are working out harder than you are sweating more. Sometimes I drink a couple glasses of ice cold water when I am "hungry" and after a few minutes I don't feel hungry anymore.

    Hope this helps! :)

I agree that an addition of protein could help here. an egg white or 2 is still fairly low in calories and may help fill the gap. Fruits tend to tide me over better then vegetables, possibly because of the sugars, I find that an apple, banana or orange works wonders when I am not quite as full as I should be. For me, the effects last longer so I might advise adding some fruit to your breakfast. As always, I am not a medical professional, and am just as unhealthy as anyone else here so even though you may try anything(or nothing as it suits you) I suggest, what works for me may not work out for you. I encourage you to keep trying different things until you find that special combination that is right for you.
