My understanding is yes, if anyone knows though what is the best way to get those calories back, the tracker tells you that you have extra calories. My question is what about the carbs, fat, protein etc. What shoud be the foods of choice??

I've heard the rule of thumb to be 80% of your exercise calories. You will have to play with it a bit to see what works for you, I tend to vary quite dramatically from day to day, listening to my body creating a zig zagging affect and it works well for me.

Also, I believe you should try to get lean protein back in within 30 mins of exercise to repair muscle. I typically drink a whey protein shake and then depending on the time of day that I've exercised it will be close to either lunch or dinner, trying to eat as cleanly as possible,,,,haha key word trying (obviously some days are easier said than done).

Another thing alot of people drink within 30mins is 1 cup of chocolate milk

    good luck

also, dont forget to make sure that your water is up there to get rid of the water your muscles are holding onto
