after a couple bad days.

I have been sick and feeing crappy. I think it was my body telling me REST already.

So I took 2 days off of the 30 day shred which was hard because I really wanted not to miss a day and drowned my sorrows with a little extra food

Tomorrow is weigh in so I want to do a little extra today. I plan to up my water, get in a good workout but I wonder if I should give myself a calories deficit of what I was over the last few days. I don't think I was over my maintenance total so in theory I shouldn't gain but I want to do more.

Take care of your body, a little rest will help you rebuild. It's hard to change goals part way through but we do adapt. Just keep you persistant attitude and be ready to jump back into your ruitine.

You need to fuel your body.. if you exercise more... your body will need more protein & some dense carbs to energize it & to fuel the muscles after workout to strengthen. So listen to your body. It might sound weird, but i have urges for protein etc.. your body tells you what it needs. . you just need to listen. Take care.. and glad you took a break:) Hugs.

Take care of yourself and feed your body.
Your body will tell you when to take time off.
30DS is hard, and I got migraines the first week so I missed 2 days. Now I do it 3-4 times a week and add a kettlebell workout too.
