What are the foods or condiments you can't substitute?

I have tried light mayo and the light mayo with olive and I hate it! I can't substitute mayo; it has to be the real thing. I don't add mayo to my sandwiches, but I do to chicken salad and tuna salad. I restrict the amount I use to 1 tbsp in order to keep the calories and fat down.

Another thing I can't sub is sugar. Artificial sugar has this nasty after-taste, which I can't stand.

So, what items you can't give up?

I can't eat reduced fat cheese - it all seems so fake and rubbery and just "off". And don't get me started on fat free cheese - it's criminally bad! I also prefer not to eat reduced-fat creamy salad dressings. Reduced fat vinaigrette usually tastes OK, though. :-)

Full fat mayo... and it must be Hellman's/Best Foods... but I use less of it now.
Hidden Valley Ranch (though I will thin it with skim milk)
Cheese... the real thing or nothing.

I really don't substitute anything, I just cut the junk out of my daily diet. I do use the Kraft Mayo with olive oil because it has only good unsaturated fats. But I don't do refined sugar or processed foods.
