Ok got the new Zumba on Wednesday, two days later this Zumbas is kicking my butt into next week!!! Does anyone do the new Zumba and are you finding it more intense and hitting all your body parts...I need a massage after this!!! Also, if you are doing it are you finding you are burning more calories doing it? Thanks for the input : )

    I am taking a zumba class 2-3 days a week and its kickin my *kitten*... omg im so sore! Sign me up for a massage too!...lol
  • I started taking the classes twice a week at my gym. It took a good month of going before my body acclimated itself to the workout. (Ankles, Butt, and Hips hurt the worst). Keep going, as you get the routines down, your muscles wont hurt as much. Ice Ice whatever muscle is yelling the most. (15min on and 15min off). After two months I noticed I was more firm and I've lost about 5lbs, (This was before I started watching my calorie intake). Because of the results I was getting, I went out and got the Zumba for my Wii also. I do it 7 days a week now for 45 minutes, (2 classes at the gym and 5 at home). I still break a good sweat, but my body is more in tune with what I'm making it do and can still be sore, but doesn't hurt. Hot shower after usually eases up the muscles.
