I need help w/ how many calories I should be eating
I'm going to start running 30 mins everyday(burning around 350-400 calories recorded it on my heart rate monitor) and doing TurboFire (burns an average of 650 calories).
I weight 135 lbs.,so my resting metabolic rate is 1350
RMR*10%=135 which is my Daily Activity Burn
Calorie burn with running and TurboFire is 1050 calories
-500 calories willl average to one pound loss a week
1350+135+1050-500=2035 calories
2035 calories seems like a lot ! Is this a correct formula ?
Thanks in advance

Go with what MFP says. It will work.0

I know, I like formulas too, and MFP is as good as anything, but the truth is, our bodies are more like a chemitry lab than a bank account. You are likely pretty close to your goal weight, so you might want to read this:

You might have to play around with calories, zig zag, and try things for a couple of weeks before you see what works!0 -
I'm not sure what your TurboFire workout is like, but you might have too much cardio. When I looked at all the numbers on MFP, and started doing the math, I got really excited about the amount of weight I could be losing if I only burned more calories. I increased my cardio and calorie burn, but it backfired and I started putting weight back on. When I backed off and started doing my strength training again, I began to see things turn back around. I'm finally back where I started, and I'm hoping to actually log a loss this week - if Easter goodies don't sabotage my success!0

Thanks because I was wondering the same questions. It's 6:49pm and it says I still have 300 calories to consume....I'm stuffed...0
