My job involves lots of travel. There are times when fast food is the only options. Tell me what you like that is good FOR me more than it is good TO me (Healthy) that I need to try. I am always afraid to try new things:ohwell: .
Recently I have fallen in love with Wendy's Pecan Chicken Salad and Chili (400 calories and 14 grams fat) .

Chipotle has some decent options. Go with a bowl, light on the rice, skip the cheese, sour cream, & guac.

Another idea is to go to a grocery store instead of fast food joint and cobble something together....0 -
I wouldn't call it healthy, but as far as fast food goes Taco Bell's Fresco menu is pretty good.0

I love McDonald's Southwest Grilled Chicken salad. You don't even need the dressing because the chicken is basted in a sweet cilantro lime marinade. It's a little over 300 calories and very filling! I also like the new Fruit and maple oatmeal and fruit and yogurt parfait!0

I also travel lots--- logged 140k miles with Delta last year.
Chik Fil A's Grilled chicken salad with no cheese croutons or dressing. Easy and quick.

It seems almost every kind of fast food is so loaded with sodium. I have found that the Taco time white chicken chili seems to be light in calories & sodium.0

Yes, the beach club unwich at Jimmy Johns....amazing!! avcado spread...yum!! The sandwich is on a lettuce wrap. Around 200 calories or less with out mayo. Plus, on the Jimmy Johns website it tells you how much calories is in the sandwich based on what you want on it.0

I hate you! haha. I moved from California and we don't have a Chipotle here. That was my FAVORITE place to eat!!0 -
Another 'non-traditional' meal - eat at the local grocery store. If I'm in a rush, my local Publix has TONS of options that are made in the store. Less calories, less sodium, less fat, and VERY delish.0

love the fresco chicken taco... its actually not very fattening0 -

These items are exactly what I order! I also like Wendys small chili poured over a plain side salad.0 -

its only 150 calories (not bad for fast food)0 -
Run in a grocery store, grab some produce (apples, grapes, oranges, carrots) and some nuts. Take them to the express check out. Run back to your car. You got a fast meal *and* a small workout. :-)0

SUBWAY for me, turkey with all the salad , or just the veggie deluxe with Hot Sauce,
It's usually my Friday lunch treat at around 300 cals )0 -
I enjoy subway club with honey mustard, about 360 cals
Taco bueno- steak fajita taco with cheese-209 cals, without 156 cals0 -

Not bad at all! Plus it's delicious!0 -
when in doubt....get sushi!!! it's easy to find the calories on the database, it's good for you, and lots of places are starting to sell sushi like grocery stores and air ports....
if your scared of actual RAW sushi, they have other things like veggie rolls, stuff with cooked fish or chicken, and awesome salads :flowerforyou:0 -
Chicken fajita pita and a fruit cup from Jack in the Box.0

This is what I began to try while on the run instead of drive throughs, although, I also found some healthier-ish frozen meals, to nuke, also.
***As far as my own addition: if you have a WHATABURGER where you are, the grilled chicken salad (w/out cheese or bacon, with half a package of dressing) works great for me, and if I've been good otherwise, I indulge in fries or a drink. A small, since everything here is Texas-sized0
