Best complex carb-heavy foods?

Hey y'all. I've recently started a significantly more strenuous exercise routine than my super sedentary butt is used to, and since I'm mildly hypoglycemic my doc told me to make sure I get in plenty of complex carbs.
What are the best foods I can eat that are low in fat, but have enough complex carbs to carry me through the day/my workout?
Thanks everybody!

I love my oatmeal every morning. Besides that, I eat whole-wheat breads and pastas, potatoes, and brown rice. Sometimes I'll cook up some barley, which can be really nice for a change of pace.0

but potatoes are not complex carb. The opposite.. Potatoes have very have GI index and raise blood sugar.
Regular potatoes are BAD carbs. Sweet potatoes however are VERY GOOD carbs.
