Need ideas - can't hang my degree and frame on wall...

I was wondering if anyone has any ideas on displaying their degrees other than hanging them on the wall. I have mine in a frame, and it just has things on the back to hang it on the wall. I can't do anything to the walls where I'm living, and I don't want to buy a new frame for my degree.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

Can you prop it up on a mantle or in a bookshelf?

Just set it up against something like on a book shelf. Prop it up.

A plate holder would do the trick.

They have hangers by 3M (I think) that have an adhesive that attachs to the wall. It's not supposed to leave any marks on the wall when you remove it. I don't know what the weight limit is though.

You can also buy a nice plate stand to put on a table and prop it up on that.

Could you buy an inexpensive easel and put it in a corner of the room?

Mine is currently hanging out in my closet... :) (I never had it displayed at home. It was at work when I was working FT and had my own office... now I don't really see the point to having it up!)

I think the 3M idea sounds the best if you do want it on the wall.

This will work if you get the larger ones. Just make sure the wall is clean and you put a lot of pressure on the hook when you apply it. I had one for the back of my bathroom door for my heavy terry robe and it held just fine.

I have seen the easels - they look neat. That would probably do the trick, or a plate holder.

    Thanks!!

Canadian tire has adhesive velcro meant for hanging frames that doesn't leave any marks on the wall.

You can get frames that have a prop thingy on the back, but if you have had it professionally matted and framed already, then I'd opt for the plate stand/easel option. :)
