Indecision and mini-rant

My internal dialog for at least the last hour...

I should go to the gym, but I'm feeling decidedly lazy today. I have already gone for a 50 minute walk to get lunch, but I usually do another 100-300 Cals more.

I workout everyday, so I could conceivably take a day of "rest." However, I decided I wanted to make lamb stew last night and it's deliciously high in calories. I've been spreading it across meals but I have one meal's worth left today and I'd like to eat it. So I kind have to earn it. I have just enough cals left to have a moderate amount of stew, but I will be itching to eat something else, I just know it.

I thought about doing a round of JM30ds, that would burn a respectable amount, but my shoulders hurt and so I can't do push ups and I have trouble doing some arm lifts. Elliptical would be the best choice for my body today.

I should stop rationalizing and go to the gym. Sigh.

Yeah I have entire conversations with myself about this type of thing - but I have to say it looks like you've come to a good conclusion :)

HAHHAA, I haven't decided yet! I only know I should... Thank you for the support though, that makes me feel more motivated to commit to a trip to the gym.

If I spent as much time at the gym as I did thinking about going to the gym, or rather, convincing myself not to go there...I would probably already be at my goal weight. :p
