From the little bit I can see right now I think you need to add some people as friends. fill out your profile page.. Have some goals.. right now it doesnt look like your committed to you weight loss.
We all need goals to work towards. You also need a support system for motivation and emotional support. Overeating is emotional!
No reason that youv'e only lost 2 oz in almost a month. Not sure how much you have to lose but I think I lost 4 or 5 lbs the first week and like 18 the first month.
Are you tracking your food? EVERYTHING. Who is doing the cooking? have you rid your "area" of bad foods like chips and cakes? I'll be glad to help if you are committed to this. But YOU have to be ready.

I'm pretty new to my fitness pal as well, but just by paying attention to what I eat, I have lost about 7 pounds. It does feel good to have a support system here, even if it is virtual. We may not work out together, but we do tend to cheer each other on and share insights and issues in ways we might not with people we know face to face. The big thing is to try not to beat yourself up. You are just warming up!:flowerforyou: try to be kind to yourself in a way you may never have before. Nurture your body and your soul by keeping hope alive and expectations reasonable. Not everyone has a jumpstart at first. 2 oz is 1/8 of a pound. Only 7/8s left for your first pound.
