Resting Heart Rate - Interesting Iphone App

I've been looking for an HRM - bought one on Ebay about a week ago - it doesn't work most of the time - gave up on it pretty quickly. Yesterday I was looking at the top 25 apps on my Iphone. I ran across one called "Heart Fitness"...it's supposed to be free. You can download it for free but you can't use it for free - cost .99. I really like it....very interesting and easy to use. I also took my HR manually to check it for accuracy and it has been pretty accurate so far.

What is your resting Heart Rate? Mine stays around 50 most of the time... Heart Fitness showed it to be 42 once early this morning but that sounds a little low to me.

    My RHR is usually around 68 - 70bpm
    I aim to raise and maintain a HR of 180bpm for 10 minutes when I exercise - am unfit so takes a while for it to return to 70bpm but id rather that than do a mediocre workout where I only get up to 150bpm

    My resting rate is around 46 - 50 on avg. My target rate for workouts is 120 -160. Polar FT4 all the time. Great HRM
