    UPDATE

    He was training for a triathlon so he was riding his bike.
    An off duty cop hit him.
    He has 6 broken ribs, collapsed lung, broken leg, shattered face.
    That is all I was able to find out.
    They are trying to stabilize him before they operate on him and he also has a heart condition.

    His daughter made it to the hospital just fine.

    Please, do not stop praying.

    Wow that poor man. He has God on his side though! I will pray.
    My friend from church was on his motorcycle and hit by a car and was in really rough shape just like this and has pulled through with lots of prayer. I hope that gives you some hope!

    We'll see how he did overnight.

    Well, I spoke to my cousin a few days ago and there has been no changes yet.
    I will try to speak with her soon.

    Praying for him and for his family. My husband was a pastor in CT too but now he's a pastor in VT the past five years. May our Lord watch over his servant, your pastor friend, bring him through the surgery today, and grant him a full recovery in His perfect time and may He bring comfort and strength to family and friends.

    Ok, update:

    he is doing a lil better
    he had a hip replaced and because of his heart condtion, there were a few problems after surgey another surgey is coming up for his jaw
    it is a slow recovery but he is doing better everyday

    Just got home, I'm on it now too. And for his daughter and family and I know this sounds weird but for the guy who hit him, too. He's got to be all torn up about it.
