Food Journals

Aside from tracking food here on MFP, do any of you carry around food journals with you?
My 1st personal trainer required that I have one on me at all times, but it just gets to be a pain after a while and I get tired of taking it everywhere but I'm debating on whether to start one again.

I use my written journal rather than record it on here, I only go on MFP for the forum groups and to record my weight. I enjoy the independence of having to write it down and work out numbers myself rather than have the computer do it and I've even decorated the front cover of cutouts from magazines of fresh fruit and vegetables so when I have it there on my dresser, when I feel the need to eat something I shouldn't I just look at it and the images of the fruit and veg give me the inspiration to eat something healthy, sounds really sad but it is something that works for me.0

I have the MFP app on my phone so just use that when I am out0

I text an email to my inbox to enter into MFP when I get home.0

I track everything on here and if I need to take it to the doctors office, I print it out and take it with me. I was keeping a written and doing it on here as well, got very old really fast!0

Thanks for all the responses.
For me, I'm kind of lazy when it comes to counting my own calories, so I enjoy the computer doing it BUT it's not always accurate, but I love the idea of decorating the journal, to make it more personal, rather than having it look like any old school notebook or something.0 -
I just remember what I eat all day or plan to eat all day and log it before or after I eat it. I make any necessary corrections at the end of the day before I hit "complete this entry"0

I used to do that also, but it got hard when adding butter, or oil, or making my own egg salad or something of that sort.0 -
I also bought some fabulous kitchen scales off Amazon, they don't just weigh food, they gave all the nutritional content of the food as well, I found this has helped a lot as quite a lot of foods on the MFP Database are not that accurate.0
