With my increased amount of exercise, I seem to fall short in the protein department. I've read how important it is for muscle repair.

Any suggestions on high-protein, low-fat snacks--besides nuts, string cheese, and cottage cheese? What are some other yummy options?

Shrimp- buy the frozen cooked kind and eat it with a little cocktail sauce. Or I love it grilled with Frank's Original Red Hot Sauce (tastes like hot wings).

    Jerky- but watch the sodium.

Sometimes, a handful of nuts of any kind will do, or a serving of peanut butter, (if you have the fat cals to spare). Also, beans and rice make a complete protein, but you can't add a bunch of bad stuff to them. I used to stir in chili powder and low-fat sour cream, s & p. MMMM......
