Hi, I've been keeping track of food and exercise off and on for about 6 months, more regularly in the last few. I've lost 7 pounds, most of it since I began tracking and keeping carbs kind of low. Joined a fitness center, have a trainer (!), and have lost about 20 inches overall. Love getting fit, that's much more fun that losing weight. Glad for this site, it makes all the tracking pretty easy. Thanks for being here.

    Welcome and congratulations on your loss so far! You're making great progress and with a trainer and MFP, I'm sure you'll continue on that path.
