5 feet and 1200 calories???

I know theres been a lot of talk about needing the 1200 calories per day, but I am wondering if I really do need 1200 calories. I weigh 130 and am only 5 feet and have a desk job, then go home to my small apartment so I don't move around much unless I work out (which I try to 5 days a week of 30-60 minutes). And I know if I work out then I know to eat those calories burned. Any insight as to if it's okay to lower my daily calories would be appreciated. Thanks!

Also what did MFP suggest when you put in your info? With only 20lbs to lose then maybe you should go with 1lb per week?0 -
I'm 5'2" and the only thing that worked for me...I was already doing light running and biking when I started MFP. The only thing that worked for me...Are you ready?
Eating.
Yelp. I had a good friend tell me I looked hot already, but he told me to eat. So I did! And what do you know, actually eating more than 500-700 calories per day was the key for me!
So eat something, add something extra, add a bigger of something throughout the day. This will help! Trust me!
I just now how to figure out a way to eat even more now, since I have become more actve. I'm working on it though.0 -
