It's not a diet.

Lifestyle. That's what this site is really about. It's not a diet, and don't think of it as a diet. Diets in our minds hint to something temporary, something that we will do for several weeks, and then drop like a bad habit. The real trick is changing your habits. Nothing more, nothing less. If you want to lose weight, you have to change your lifestyle. Learning to eat better isn't something that happens overnight. It's trial and error, and there will be errors. Find what you like. Learn to eat less. Change how often you eat. Find what works for you. Everyone is different, and everyone's eating habits should be different too.

Keep good thoughts in your mind and remember that achieving a healthy weight isn't just a goal, it's a lifestyle choice.

Just my two cents for the day.

  • Well said, brother. It's this attitude that has been instrumental in my success so far, far more than anything else, including motivation, willpower, protein supplements, or the blessed elliptical. :)

I agree. I think the problem so many of us are having with other people's attitudes is that they think we are dieting, and that isn't the point. The point is not to be unhealthy.
