that title's a mouthful.

wondering if anyone has a recipe for homemade sugar-free frappuchinos that are like the BOTTLED starbuck's fraps. I'm not looking to make anything in a blender. Too much dishwashing.

yeah. reading back this post I think I may be slightly lame. :) "Nutrition" hmm, right.

(tell me anyway)

All I found was this.. and yes, a blender is involved, sorry.

    Mocha Frappuccino Shake

2/3 cup coffee, brewed at double strength
    1/3 cup milk
    1 teaspoon Splenda sugar substitute
    1 1/2 tablespoons sugar-free chocolate syrup
2 cups sugar-free vanilla ice cream
whipped light cream (I used canned whipped cream)
    additional sugar-free chocolate syrup

Pour coffee into an ice cube tray and freeze about 6-7 coffee ice cubes.
Stir Splenda into milk until dissolved, then combine all ingredients in blender and blend until smooth.
Pour into two chilled glasses and top with whipped cream then a drizzle of chocolate syrup - Yummy!

  • 27 calories seems really low. even if you're using skim milk, the milk alone is more than 27 calories. and i've never seen any frozen yogurt or vanilla ice cream thats less than 80 calories per every 1/2 cup.

    Very welcome hon
  • I would try out instant coffee (easy to mix for cold recipes), almond breeze (milk substitute very creamy, low cal) and splenda, with a shot of sugarfree vanilla syrup. thats my bet
