Calorie Counter Calculator

I am using the calories burned based on MFP calculator due to I can't find my HRM transmitter. Well, I found a calorie calculator that uses, age, gender, height and weight to calculate calories burned. MFP gave me 586 calories burned for 50 minutes of exercise. The other calculator gave me 683 for the same amount of exercise. I will go with the lowest amount for now since I don't eat the calories earned.

Welcome to MFP!!
In my opinion, the Calculators are just estimates. As long as you use the same one consistently you should get results. Going with the lowest one seems the best idea to me.

I don't have an HRM and it's not in the budget right now, so I use different sites to calculate and always use the lowest one just to be safe :-)0

Thanks. I am new and was confused about the exercise calories earned. I will treat them like the APs earned on WW. I will eat some of them from this day forward. I will also make sure that I eat all of my goal calories for the day. I want to do this right and be successful. Again thanks for the replies.0
