Could it be true?

Hi all, I started my diet and exercise on Friday 15th and according to my scales I have lost just over 6lbs already! I have been really good, and exercising every day, so could this be right? I have weighed daily and couldnt believe that from one day to the next it can be a 1lb loss on the scales... just worrying theyre not right!! My start weight was right on them cos it was the same as what the doctors scales said.
I know the logical thing to do would be weigh myself on someone else's scales to double check, but I cant do that today so for now I just wanted to ask you all if it sounds right! I definitely feel slimmer and clothes looser etc... :-)

hello there!
if it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck....you know the rest right? lol so if your clothes are getting looser and you feel slimmer the scale should be right. always try to weigh on the same scale in the nude if possible or just in underwear so that it will always be accurate. i gained 3 lbs over a 3wk time period but lost 3 inches then from the 18th to the 22nd 7lbs fell off and just could NOT believe...but i knew my clothes weren't as snug and i knew i was doing the work so i let myself have that victory ...but good luck to you!0 -
people usually lose weight really fast at first..they say its water weight..but i dont buy it..its probably because you've shocked your body, since your doing something different.
you'll even out..and probably plateau..just remember to keep switching up your exercise routine..as you lose weight re do your BMR. eat healthy, stay under your cals and work hard..also remember every few months take about a week long break to let your body rest and recup and decondition itself.0 -
take it. I wouldn't get on someone else's scale. I've yet to see two scales that are the same. You have made some major changes in what/how you eat that can often times have a big impact, at least iniitally. congrats on the loss!!0

Ah thanks everyone, I'm glad I can believe it! I keep thinking, if I feel this much better already, I'm gonna feel awesome in a few months time! Woo hoo, this is the year for getting slim, I can feel it in my (skinny) bones! Hehe x0
