Polar HRM HELP

Hiya guys need your help - I have a polar ft40 - now the question i have is does the watch automatically take away your hourly calories that you would burn without doing anything ? or do you have to manually adjust it - because i have been adjusting atm x

    Hi, I always deduct them myself but not quite sure whether it does or not to be completely honest with you!
