Okay, so you know when you're really trying hard to lose weight and you're trying to keep yourself from your scale so you don't really know how much progress you've had? Then your pants that were too small before fit, but you still feel like you haven't changed much? Well, the best feeling EVER is seeing a friend you haven't seen in a couple of months who doesn't know you've been changing your eating habits and working out on a regular basis and they ask (honestly), "Have you lost weight? You look good!" Yeah, that's the best feeling EVER. :) Happened on Saturday night and it was fantastic. It's just another of those positive motivators to keep me on track. Just wanted to share. :flowerforyou:

Way to go, Kristie! You're right--that is the best feeling. I can't wait to get there! However, the second best feeling is not weighing yourself for 3 weeks, then when you do you've lost 5 more pounds than you expected. That happened to me this morning. I'm not going to weigh myself till December 21 and we'll see if I get that second-best feeling again!

Congratulations, and keep up the good work!

I have kept myself from the scale/body fat percentage/measurements since the end of October. It's been hard as heck! I'll be doing all of that before I go to see my family for Christmas, on December 17. I hope I have as much success as you! I'll be keeping my fingers crossed and my hands off the office goodies! Good luck on your next weigh in!
  • Well done, thats brilliant!

I have this really weird thing when people often ask if I've lost weight when I haven't? I'm sure its meant nicely but I always take it to mean that I must have looked really fat last time they saw me.....My father in law ALWAYS asks....I can't wait till next time he asks and I can say "Why yes, I have!"
