I have had an HRM for about a month now and noticed that it gives me numbers that say fat and numbers that say fitness.....what is the difference? If I am working out to lose weight, then should I try to stay with in the fat range?

Its the percentage of time you spend with your heart rate in the "fat burning zone" versus the "fitness zone". I think fat burn is between 120-140 bpm, not sure what fitness is but I believe it's higher.0
