Food to stop fatigue?

Does anyone have ideas on what foods I should eat to help battle fatigue? At night I get up about 1-3 times, but sleep 8 hours. I could take a nap every day if it were possible. Is that bad? I am making a lifestyle change by eating fresh veggies and fruits and getting a good share of fiber. I have lost about 6 pounds since the middle of June and continue to get my 30 minutes of exercise 3 times a week in. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

it depends why u get fatigue i get it due to fybromyalgia and find that an overload of carbs and sugar makes it much worse as does caffeine but i would speak to ur doctor if u have no idea why u get it

I have read somewhere to eat an apple in the morning as it wakes you up more then a cup of coffee.
I don't drink the stuff...but I did find this after google searching it:
Many people have been told by others, or told others themselves, that the natural sugars in an apple can wake you up better than the caffeine in a cup of coffee. We all know that after the caffeine wears off and the sugar rush is over you're even more tired than before. So that could be why an apple is better than the coffee in the morning. Plus, with an apple, you don't get those nasty yellowish teeth stains like you do with coffee.0 -

That's what I was going to say!0
