fat burning/appetite suppressing foods!

Just a few foods to help with weight loss that I've found to be life savers.
Eat fruits and veggies high in vitamin C like oranges, lemons, and pineapples. They liquefy body fat so that it can be flushed out of the body.
Dairy foods with calcium like low-fat yogurt and cheese break down fat cells faster and suppress calcitrol which is a hormone responsible for making fat cells bigger; also helps suppress appetite. My fav low-fat yogurt is totally Dannon LIght and Fit vanilla. So delish.
Raw and organic nuts provide fiber, protein, and Omega-3 fats. Help ward off hunger. Brazil nuts have selenium which releases thyroid hormones that keep metabolism high. Perfect snacking right here!
Pectin in apples can prevent fat absorption in the body. Also a good appetite suppressant. Fun fact: it is impossible to eat 1000 calories worth in apples. Think about that before choosing to binge on french fries, ladies.
Fish like salmon and tuna make the body more sensitive to the fat-burning hormone called Leptin which suppresses appetite and determines what calories are burned for energy and what are stored as fat. Choose fish instead of chicken or turkey!
Avocados have a special sugar, mannoheptulose, that lowers insulin levels to prevent the body from storing fat and gaining weight. Avocado, not guacamole and chips, girls. I like to slice it up, sprinkle a little bit of sea salt on it, and eat with a piece of whole wheat toast. So yummy!
Spices like chili peppers, jalapeno peppers, cayenne peppers, and hot mustard increase fat burning metabolism for up to 3 hours after eating them.
