    I would go for the Rump Steak 8oz - £12.95 - no chips!!..... Either ask for Baked Potato (sauce / cream on the side), or a side of vegetables - and a side salad...

    I'd say;

    Veg lasagne
    Roast veg and Wensleydale bake
    Veggie burger
    Penne pasta

    I wouldn't touch anything else on there.

    Veggie burger - basically a bunch of low quality vegetables in a patty. No cheese. No bun if you want to cut it right down. Get a salad or vegetables on the side to replace. I would not go for the pasta dishes as they will have a ton of cheese no doubt, basically pick something where you know they can't load it with calories you weren't expecting.
    Otherwise I would say a no-frills steak and again, cut out any sides that will up your calories.
