MISSDEEHERE'S ONE WEEK CHALLENGE~FOR SHORT TERM GOALS
FOCUSING ON ONE WEEK AT A TIME, WHEN THE BIG PICTURE SEEMS TOO OVERWHELMING.......
FOR THE WEEK OF: April 24 to April 30, 2011
BUT…… Make your week the week that works for you. Sun to Sat or Mon to Sun, whatever is YOUR week!
You choose what one/or more things you want to work on this week. Don't set them tooo high or unreachable, but something you need to work on.
Motivation for Weight Loss
One small step at a time
You will reach your goal for sure if you break a complicated task into small actionable steps. Do just one step at a time. To get started, choose something you know you can do easily. That can get the ball rolling for getting more done. These small steps will get you where you need to go.
:drinker: I'M MOTIVATED & LOSING AGAIN & SO ARE THE OTHERS WHO PARTICIPATED! JOIN US??:drinker:
Anyone interested in joining us for another week, or a first week?
Thank you and you may friend me if you like, but please include a message in your friend request.
 LET THE GAMES BEGIN!!!!

Hey Suz! Thanks for getting this week started
I'm in again!
For this week my goal is to start my new workout program. I finish P90X today (I'll be doing my last workout tonight). Rather then wait I'm going to keep going. My goals for this week:
Monday - Finish P90X
Tuesday - Friday - start morning workout routine & walk after work.
Let me tell you the morning workout's are going to be a CHALLENGE for me, I am not really a morning person and I love my sleep  We will see how it goes. Try and get a walk in with the dog after work. We have our big family vacation coming up and there will be LOTS of walking, then June 10th I'm doing Relay for life which is a overnight walk. Time to get my ready for all that walking.
Saturday - workout video.
Have a FABULOUS week everyone.0 -
I am in again for 450min of exercise
Good luck everyone :flowerforyou:0 -

Photomandy, we welcome anyone and everyone! This is a great group of supporters! Some of us have been really busy lately but it's nice to come and go as we please but still support one another. The person who started this group, MissDee, will check in soon... she usually starts these threads for us! She has been really busy with some family health problems, but I am sure she would echo me in saying WELCOME ABOARD!!! It's all about one week at a time and making short term goals... don't make too many because it can set you up to fail. Good luck and welcome!0 -
Can I join? If so my goals are:
- At least 35 minutes of exercise EVERYDAY
- Drink at least 8 cups of water
- Stay as close to my calorie goal as possible
- Lose at least 1 pound.0 -
Goal this week is to up it to 16 miles this week.
Had a running physical today to check out some old injuires and make sure I am fit enough to start running. Need to follow up with some physical therapy and lots of conditioning we should be able to get me moving faster and hopefully see this weight start to melt off me.
I only got in 1.5 miles today because of a sick kid again.0 -
Well it's official P90X is done for me, I have to admit I'm happy and sad about this. Tomorrow morning <gulp> I start my new workout routine.
Welcome to the people joining us for the first week. Welcome back those that are back for another week. One step at a time everyone we can do this! Have a great night!0 -
MAK! You look great in your new pic!!! Can you see the difference?! YOU GO, GIRL!!!!
I forgot to check in last night - 25/175... off to a slow start this week. I think the dreary weather here in Boston is affecting me!0 -
Thanks Suz!! The hubby took that of me being silly, and I though it was kind of a fun pic, and WAY better then my last two, so I thought I'd use it :-) And I know what you mean about the dreary weather!!
So... Tuesday wasn't off to the big banging start I had hoped, couldn't get out of bed to work out. It's ok though I've decided this is my week to work my way to getting up early enough to work out... so I was up 10 minutes earlier then usual. YEA for little victories :-)
We will see about walking tonight, it's supposed to off and on all day. I do have my bowling league tonight, so if nothing else at least I have that!0 -
i lost over a pound last week so yay
gonna try and do so again this week with diet and working out. getting more walking in will be my goal, but the rain has kinda put a kibosh on it yesterday and today lol
though i did try the kinect and that had me running lol0 -
Thank you soooooooo much Suz!!
Company is gone. I am mowing the grass on break now, but thunder in the distance. Sooooo I gotta go back out to finish!
I AM IN THIS WEEK!! I AM SOOOOOOOO IN!!
Be back with goals!!
Love & Miss ya ALL!!0 -
got in 3.5 miles today, on treadmill. staying home with sick kid makes time for a hard workout.0
-
Tuesday check-in: 55/175! I also walked over 12,000 steps at work, the grocery store after work, aerobics and dancing. AMAZING.0
-
Wednesday morning another no go for the am workout. Really going to have to work at this. And sadly I don't think I'll be getting workout in after work either. Nothing major just loads of little stuff.
Tuesday night I did bowl so yea! But I didn't bowl very well boo!
Other then the workout stuff I'm feeling pretty good
Hope you all are doing fablous and are focusing on your mini goal of the week!0 -
Doing great on the exercise minutes this week so far. Walking with friends for 30 min before work is a great help and if I get up in time to do a dvd before I go, it is even better. It seems easier for me to get the workout done in the morning and then if I am tired when I get home it is no big deal, but I have been getting more done in the evenings.
Keep up the great work everyone!0 -
C2 5K W2D1 1.75 miles walking 3 mph and running 4.0-5.0 mph, finished with 2.5 miles on the tredmill great workout over 400 calories burned.0

80/1750

Ugh...I just can't seem to stay on track...I went way over on my exchanges last night at Applebee's...luckily, today is a new day.0
-
Ohhhh did someone say Applebee's.... I LOVE LOVE LOVE their chicken fajita rollup with extra mexi-Ranch sauce... or... well... I used to. I'd probably die if I tried to eat as much as I used to eat when I went to Applebee's.
Which actually says something for my mentality! The "old me" used to sit at Applebee's and have an appetizer (sometimes my OWN app or shared) then the entire fajita rollup with extra sauce plus ALL of my fries (dipped in that extra sauce) THEN I'd have the warm apple pie with ice cream on top for dessert... HOLY MOLY. I wonder how much I'd eat now - probably half the rollup and half the fries - at best! My "internal stomach" isn't what it used to be! In fact, I just ate one hard boiled egg and an English muffin for dinner with a bottle of water and I am satisfied.
Maybe this really IS working.... LOL!
MAK (aka Meg) thank you so so so so so much for my message earlier... you are so right and I am not going anywhere! I worked out and had a sensible dinner and I feel better. Thank you. :flowerforyou:
My minutes so far this week: 110/1750 -
3 miles today!!0
-
Hi all!
Way to go Kris! 3 miles that amazing! Keep it up.
Suz, I'm here for you girl!
Blueviolet, keep up the great attitude, it is a new day and YOU CAN DO IT!
Hope everyone else is doing well.
As for me, well I think I've decided this is my week off. LOL!! Next week I'll get back on the workout train. A week off might be a good thing. I am happy to report I'm still bring breakfast and lunch to work everyday. I feel like that's really helping me keep on track (that and avoiding the treat cube at work... ohhh M&M's why do you taunt me so :blushing:)
Keep on rockin' it everyone!0 -
Friday night check-in: 140/1750
-
Wimpy 1.5 miles of leisurely walking have to get 4 tomorrow to complete my goal good thing it's the weekend!0
-
seems were missing alot of folks this week!
Suz u are doing awesome keep rocking those dance move and watch as the scale leans back down.
Mak next week ur going to kill AM workouts I wish I had your patients to pack meals to work. I drive an hour each way and I pray every morning dropping kids at daycare that traffic will be kind so to squeeze in the time to make breakfast and lunch I would be getting up another hour early. =o( That's not likely, because like you I enjoy my sleep a lot!!:noway:0 -
Almost to goal and 2 days left for me0
-
Whew! I just did 15 (maybe 18?) minutes of Just Dance 2 for the Wii, then immediately went into a standing abs workout On Demand then right into a 10 minute bellydancing routine On Demand = 35 minutes.
Which means I just hit my 175 minute goal!
However, I did not lose the 4 pounds I was looking for... that's okay. I had a struggle week this week. I lost 2.4 though so I am still proud of myself! I also stayed under 1800mg sodium for 4/7 days and only went over by 29 to 200 on of my "over" days.
See you on tomorrow's/next week's thread!0 -
2 miles =o( didn't find time to get all 4 in today to hit goal this week!0
