Oh wow! Am I already impressed with the responses and determination I have read about! I thought I better tell everyone a little about my past weight struggles.

Here goes......Yuck!

I really can't remember a time in my life that I haven't thought about being overweight in someway or another. Pretty sad! I am currently 5'3" and 182#! EWWW! I have had a very emotional past few years. Lost a brother, unhappy at work, missed my best girlfriends that have all moved away tremendously! Enough said! With all the negative, I have a lot of positive too! I have a wonderful family and very supportive husband that adores me. I am very thankful for this!

Also, I have a 10 y/old daughter that I can already see headed in the same direction as I am. This kills me more than anything. I want to do this for her too! I want to make gradual changes for us both. She is very active and has youth on her side. I on the other hand, am losing the battle with mother nature! LOL

So far, this site has kept me from doing my 7-330 job. So, I better get busy. Thanks for all of your support. I can see that this may be my new social network! :)

Just wanted to say hello! This site has been great offering "real life" support from others along with making me 100% accountable for what I put into my mouth.

Good luck on your weight loss journey!

Welcome. This is an awesome site and place to come for support. Use it full out. Post pictures, post blogs, post topics, post how you are feeling when you succeed and when you fail. You will be amazed at the support you get, and you will never feel like the only one out there.

    Best of luck!
